Corporate Secretary and Communication Department Head
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure the company complies with regulations in accordance with Good Corporate Governance (GCG) standards.
Lead and manage the corporate secretary team, assigning responsibilities and overseeing workflow.
Offer effective support for the planning of Board meetings, Board Committees, and shareholder meetings, ensuring all secretarial matters are handled in accordance with applicable rules and regulations, and prepare meeting minutes accordingly.
Advise on corporate governance best practices, directors' duties, and legal obligations to ensure ongoing compliance.
Develop and execute corporate communication strategies aligned with the Company's business objectives.
Manage the company's corporate communication channels, including website, social media, and digital platformsBuild and maintain strong relationships with media, journalists, government institutions, business partners, and other stakeholders.
Prepare and oversee press releases, media statements, speeches, and corporate announcements.
Lead initiatives to strengthen and protect the company's corporate identity and brand reputation.
Develop and implement comprehensive corporate communication strategies aligned with the company's vision, mission, and business objectives.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in law, Administration, Management, or related fields.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3-5 years in a senior corporate secretary and communication or governance leadership role.
Strong knowledge of corporate law, compliance, and governance frameworks (good corporate governance practices).
Excellent written and communication skills, with discretion and the ability to handle confidential matters.
Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and provide guidance on risk and compliance matters.
Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
