Deputy Operations Controller
Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Factory Controller in overseeing the overall financial and operational control of the factory.
Monitor production costs, manufacturing expenses, and operational efficiency to ensure cost optimization.
Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for factory operations.
Ensure accurate inventory valuation and monitor raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Finance departments to ensure accurate data and efficient operations.
Monitor compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.
Identify operational risks and recommend corrective actions to improve productivity and profitability.
Support internal and external audit activities by preparing required documentation and data.
Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to production costs, inventory, and factory performance.
Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Act as the Factory Controller's representative when required and support cross-functional projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in factory finance, cost control, manufacturing accounting, or operational controlling.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is mandatory.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work under pressure.
Willing to be based at the factory site.
