Social Media Specialist
Position Overview
We are looking for a creative, fast-moving, and execution-focused Social Media Specialist to manage and grow the online presence of our company brands across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
This role is responsible for planning content, executing daily social media operations, increasing engagement, supporting campaigns, and helping transform the company into a modern, digitally-driven brand ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
Content Planning & Execution
Create and manage monthly content calendars
Plan daily content postings across all platforms
Coordinate media & graphic content production
Write engaging captions and platform-appropriate copy
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and company objectives
Support product launches, campaigns, promotions, and company events
Social Media Management
Manage company social media accounts:
Instagram
TikTok
Facebook
LinkedIn
YouTube Shorts
Google Business Profile
Schedule and publish content consistently
Monitor comments, DMs, mentions, and engagement
Escalate customer complaints or PR-sensitive issues appropriately
Maintain a professional yet engaging brand voice
Short-Form Video & Trend Execution
Identify trending content formats, sounds, and viral opportunities
Assist in scripting and directing short-form videos
Work with internal teams and talent for content creation
Support live selling and livestream campaigns where required
Repurpose long-form content into short clips and highlights
Analytics & Reporting
Track social media performance metrics:
Reach
Engagement
Follower growth
Video views
Click-through rates
Conversion performance
Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports
Recommend improvements based on platform analytics
Collaboration
Work closely with:
Sales team
Business Intelligence team
E-commerce team
Graphic designers
Procurement/principal brands
Coordinate with external agencies, KOLs, influencers, and photographers when needed
Requirements
Education & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
Marketing
Communications
Multimedia
Business
or related field
Minimum 1–3 years experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation
FMCG, foodservice, retail, or e-commerce experience is preferred
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of:
Instagram
TikTok
Facebook
LinkedIn
YouTube algorithms and trends
Familiar with:
Canva
CapCut
Meta Business Suite
Google Drive
Google Sheets
Basic video editing tools
Photography and videography skills are a plus
Basic copywriting ability is required
Soft Skills
Creative and trend-aware
Fast response and execution speed
Strong communication skills
Organized and able to manage deadlines
Comfortable appearing on camera is a plus
Willing to work during events, campaigns, or occasional weekends
