Job Title: Oracle Financials Consultant


Location: Jakarta
Employment Type: Full-time (On Client Payroll)
Reports To: ERP Program Manager / Finance Transformation Lead
Experience Required: 5–10+ years in Oracle Financials implementation


About the Client

Our client is a large enterprise undergoing financial systems transformation through Oracle ERP (Fusion Cloud / EBS R12). The organization is focused on enhancing financial governance, automating accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with global reporting standards.

This role provides exposure to complex accounting structures, enterprise integration landscapes, and multi-entity financial operations.


Role Overview

The Oracle Financials Consultant will act as the bridge between finance stakeholders and technical teams. The role is responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing Oracle ERP Financial modules to streamline accounting operations and strengthen financial controls.

The consultant will lead implementation cycles, align ERP capabilities with business objectives, and ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance frameworks.

This position is ideal for finance-oriented ERP professionals with strong functional knowledge and system configuration expertise.


Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Configuration

  • Lead full lifecycle implementations:

    • Requirement gathering

    • Solution design

    • System configuration

    • Go-live support

  • Configure Oracle Financial modules in line with accounting standards and internal policies.

Module Ownership

  • Set up and maintain:

    • General Ledger (GL)

    • Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Fixed Assets (FA)

    • Cash Management (CM)

  • Ensure correct chart of accounts structure and financial control setup.

Business Process Mapping

  • Analyze “As-Is” financial processes.

  • Design optimized “To-Be” workflows including:

    • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

    • Order-to-Cash (O2C)

    • Record-to-Report (R2R)

  • Align ERP design with internal controls and compliance standards.

Technical Collaboration

  • Work with technical teams on RICEFW objects:

    • Reports

    • Interfaces

    • Customizations

    • Extensions

    • Forms

    • Workflows

  • Validate functional specifications and integration logic.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Lead:

    • Unit Testing

    • System Integration Testing (SIT)

    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Ensure defect resolution prior to go-live.

Post-Go-Live Support & Maintenance

  • Provide production support and troubleshooting.

  • Manage Oracle quarterly update and patch cycles.

  • Ensure minimal disruption during system upgrades.

Documentation & Governance

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including:

    • BR100 (Configuration Document)

    • MD050 (Functional Design Document)

    • TE040 (Test Scripts)

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation standards.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or related discipline.

  • 5–10+ years of Oracle ERP Financials experience.

  • Experience in at least one full-cycle Oracle ERP implementation.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial compliance standards.


Technical Skills

Oracle ERP Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience with:

    • Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials

    • Oracle EBS R12 Financials

Reporting & Analytics

  • OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence)

  • BI Publisher

  • FRS (Financial Reporting Studio)

  • Smart View

Data Migration & Conversion

  • Experience with:

    • FBDI (File-Based Data Import)

    • ADFdi (Application Development Framework Desktop Integration)

  • Support mass data updates and migration activities.

Database Knowledge

  • Basic to intermediate SQL skills for:

    • Data validation

    • Troubleshooting

    • Report validation


Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and financial problem-solving ability.

  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills.

  • Ability to translate accounting requirements into ERP configurations.

  • High attention to detail and governance mindset.

  • Capability to work in multi-entity and cross-functional environments.
