Business Development Manager – International Business will be responsible for formulating, driving, and executing Serba Mulia Group’s international expansion and partnership strategies. Given the group's footprint in financial services, consumer finance, and pawnshops, this role focuses on exploring regional market entries (particularly within Southeast Asia), establishing alliances with global institutions, and identifying cross-border business opportunities

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct in-depth market research on global and regional macroeconomic trends, financial services to identify potential growth markets.

  • Evaluate investment viability and formulate market entry strategies

  • Develop detailed feasibility studies and present regular strategic progress reports directly to the Board of Directors.

Requirement :

  • Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Relations, or a related field. An MBA or Master’s in Finance from an overseas institution is highly advantageous.

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Business Development, Corporate Strategy, or Strategic Partnerships, with at least 1-2 years of direct exposure handling cross-border/international projects.

  • Prior background in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Multi-Finance, Fintech, Management Consulting, or Global Commodity Trade is highly preferred.

  • Native or professional fluency in English (both written and verbal) is mandatory for high-level corporate negotiation. Fluency in Mandarin or other Southeast Asian languages is a strong asset.

  • Strong proficiency in corporate finance, financial modeling, investment analysis, and assessing financial statements.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and navigate diverse cultural business etiquettes smoothly.

  • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to connect global macroeconomic trends to actionable, on-the-ground commercial opportunities for the group.
