Purchasing Staff

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with various departments to identify and source the required materials, equipment, and services

• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and pricing for the company

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring optimal stock levels

• Process purchase orders and monitor the delivery of goods and services

• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective cost management strategies

• Provide administrative support to the Purchasing and Logistics teams as required

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

• Proficient in using procurement and inventory management software

• Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address supply chain challenges

• A good understanding of procurement regulations, policies, and best practices

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
