IT Sub Regional Lead – Asia & Oceania
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and forward-thinking Regional IT Manager to lead IT operations and business engagement across the Oceania cluster, covering Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand.
This is a senior leadership role that blends technology expertise, stakeholder influence, and business partnership. The successful candidate will act as a trusted IT advisor to country leadership teams, driving technology-enabled business outcomes while ensuring operational excellence in IT service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional IT Leadership & Business Partnership
Represent IT in monthly business leadership meetings across all 10 countries.
Engage with Country Managers and key stakeholders to:
Understand business strategies, priorities, and challenges
Identify technology gaps and improvement opportunities
Co-develop IT-enabled solutions aligned with business growth
Collaborate closely with the Regional IT Director to validate and align recommendations before country-level execution.
Act as the primary bridge between IT and business, ensuring IT is seen as a value-driven partner rather than a support function.
2. IT Strategy, Innovation & Value Creation
Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives across the region, leveraging:
AI technologies and automation
Digital assistants (e.g., Moveworks)
Modern workplace solutions
Champion business value-driven IT solutions that go beyond BAU operations.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost efficiency, and user experience improvement.
3. IT Operations & Service Delivery Excellence
Oversee end-to-end IT service delivery for the cluster, ensuring:
Strong adherence to SLAs and KPIs
High levels of end-user satisfaction
Manage and govern ITSM practices using ServiceNow or equivalent tools.
Ensure stability and performance of:
End User Computing (EUC) environments
Infrastructure, cloud platforms, and networks
4. Technology Domain Leadership
Maintain strong working knowledge and governance across:
End User Computing (EUC):
Microsoft Intune, Jamf
Windows 11, MacOS environments
Infrastructure & Cloud:
Windows Servers, enterprise cloud platforms
Networking:
SD-WAN technologies and enterprise connectivity
Understand IT/OT, LoTN network structure.
AI & Automation:
AI-based IT solutions, digital assistants
ITSM & Automation:
ServiceNow and AI-driven service management tools
5. Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead and develop a regional team of ~13 EUC Engineers across 10 countries.
Build a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Develop team members as “IT Technology Champions” to:
Drive innovation alongside BAU responsibilities
Deliver business value through technology initiatives
Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development to strengthen regional capabilities.
6. Regional Governance & Collaboration
Ensure alignment with global IT standards, policies, and security requirements.
Drive consistency in service delivery, tools usage, and operational processes across countries.
Collaborate with global and regional IT teams to:
Share best practices
Scale solutions across markets
Key Requirements
Experience
10+ years of IT experience, with at least:
5+ years in a regional or multi-country leadership role
Proven experience in a multinational (MNC) environment supporting diverse business functions
Demonstrated success in:
Managing regional IT operations
Leading distributed teams
Driving business-facing IT initiatives
Technical Expertise
Strong hands-on or governance-level knowledge in:
EUC management (Intune, Jamf, Windows ecosystem)
ITSM platforms (ServiceNow preferred)
AI technologies and digital assistants (e.g., Moveworks)
Infrastructure, cloud environments, and networking (SD-WAN)
IT operations management (SLA/KPI governance)
