Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HSE Assistant Manager to lead and strengthen the company’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system across operational activities.
This role will be responsible for driving HSE governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing operational risks, and promoting a proactive safety culture aligned with company objectives and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement HSE strategies, policies, procedures, and improvement programs aligned with company objectives
Ensure compliance with applicable HSE regulations, customer requirements, and company standards
Lead hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control implementation across operational areas
Monitor and analyze HSE performance data, including KPI achievement and improvement initiatives
Lead incident investigation processes and ensure effective corrective & preventive actions
Manage emergency response preparedness programs, drills, and evaluations
Oversee implementation and sustainability of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, iSO 9001, and related management systems
Coordinate internal and external HSE audits and ensure audit readiness
Lead, develop, and coach HSE team members to strengthen capability and engagement
Collaborate with operational and support departments to integrate HSE into daily business processes
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in transportation, logistics, manufacturing, or operational industries
Strong understanding of HSE regulations and management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, SMK3)
Certified AK3U or equivalent HSE certification is preferred
Experienced in incident investigation, audit handling, and safety management implementation
Strong leadership, communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Able to work effectively in dynamic operational environments and cross-functional coordination
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE reporting/documentation systems
