Shipping Operation Officer

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule vessels to support operational activities efficiently.

• Monitor market trends and cargo movement across multiple vessels on a daily basis.

• Analyze cargo opportunities and allocate suitable vessels based on operational requirements.

• Maintain strong coordination with shipowners, operators, agents, and related stakeholders.

• Support chartering activities and ensure optimal vessel utilization.

• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities and cargo diversification.

• Monitor freight rates and industry developments to support strategic operational decisions.

• Ensure operational efficiency by optimizing routing, minimizing idle time, and reducing voyage costs.

• Prepare operational and commercial reports related to vessel performance and cargo activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Transport, Shipping Management, Logistics, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping operations, chartering, or related maritime industry.

• Strong understanding of vessel operations, ports, cargo handling, and shipping processes.

• Experienced in analyzing and allocating suitable vessels based on cargo requirements.

• Familiar with barges, LCT, MV, jetty operations, and bulk carrier transportation is preferred.

• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Mandarin or English proficiency is preferred

• Good communication and coordination skills.
