Job Summary:

The Offshore Installation Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the preparation, installation, and commissioning of platform systems and equipment. This role ensures that all offshore operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations while maintaining cost-effectiveness and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Organization:

• Oversee and manage the preparation and installation of the platform's systems and equipment.

• Supervise the delivery of supplies and equipment onto the facility to ensure seamless operations.

• Review work/site procedures, planned activities, and schedules to ensure safe execution and minimize production interruptions.

• Prepare documents and reports to facilitate a seamless handover and commissioning process.

Financial:

• Manage the project budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.

• Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where applicable.

Customer:

• Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, company management, regulatory agencies, and contractors.

• Ensure clear and transparent communication with all relevant parties to maintain smooth project execution.

People:

• Ensure the safety and security of all personnel and equipment on the rig.

• Coordinate and supervise field personnel to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to offshore teams, promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence.

System:

• Manage the environmental impact of offshore operations and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Maintain and update the facility’s emergency response plans and procedures.

• Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine, or a related field (preferred).

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in offshore oil & gas installation projects.

• Strong knowledge of offshore installation procedures, HSE regulations, and project management principles.

• Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Certifications in offshore safety and emergency response (e.g., BOSIET, HUET) are preferred.
