Compliance Testing Specialist
About the Role
The Compliance Testing Specialist will help the team in executing independent reviews of business processes to assess compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and controls. This role helps ensure the Bank's business units operate within regulatory expectations and internal standards, and supports the Bank’s enterprise-wide compliance program.
Work Responsibilities
Develop test scripts and sampling methodologies based on risk assessments, regulatory requirements, and internal policy guidelines.
Perform fieldwork including data analysis, document review, control walkthroughs, and staff interviews to evaluate compliance and control effectiveness.
Identify and document issues or control weaknesses, assess their root causes and potential impact, and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in monitoring of compliance activities and prepare regular reports for senior management and the board.

Collaborate with other lines of defense, including Internal Audit and Operational Risk, to ensure alignment and efficient oversight.
Job Requirements
Example:
Bachelor's degree, with at least 3 years experience in compliance, audit, or other control-related function in the banking industry.
Have at least 3 years of experience in compliance, with a focus on Compliance Testing roles.
Stay current with changes in relevant laws and regulations, including industry standards.
Spoken and written Fluent English
Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills to identify issues, provide sound judgment, and strong attention to details.
Excellent communications and writing skills in interacting with non-executives and executive management and across a number of business lines and functions.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex issues and solutions through concise and clear approach.
Capable of managing stakeholder efficiently not only internal teams but also external parties such as regulators.
Eagerness to learn something new, and having the passion to involve and adapt in a challenging and high pace working environment
A self-starter, flexible, innovative, proactive, adaptive, highly motivated, team oriented and well organized.
