Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering and Construction Manager to lead the maintenance, construction, and operational integrity of our resort. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing engineering and construction operations within 5-star hotel resorts or luxury properties in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities :

Engineering Operations

• Oversee the daily maintenance and operation of resort facilities, including villas, public areas, infrastructure, and utilities.  
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure all facilities meet luxury standards.
• Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff, ensuring proper training and performance management.  
• Monitor and manage the resort’s energy consumption and sustainability practices to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.  

Construction Management

• Manage renovation, expansion, and new construction projects, ensuring compliance with budgets, timelines, and quality standards.  
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design and construction align with the resort’s luxury positioning and operational requirements.  
• Ensure all construction and maintenance activities comply with Indonesian regulations, safety standards, and local environmental laws.  

Project Planning and Reporting

• Prepare budgets, cost estimates, and schedules for engineering and construction projects.  
• Report progress and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.  
• Identify and mitigate risks related to infrastructure, operations, or construction projects.  

Collaboration Stakeholder and Engagement

• Coordinate with the property management team to address villa owner requests related to construction, maintenance, or upgrades.  
• Build strong relationships with local government, vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless operations.  
• Actively support the resort’s sustainability and community development initiatives.

Qualifications :

• Experience :

Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering and construction management within 5-star hotel resorts or luxury properties in Indonesia.  

• Education:

Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.  

• Industry Knowledge: 

Comprehensive understanding of Indonesian construction standards, building codes, and property management systems.  

• Technical Skills:

Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD, and MS Office.  

• Communication: 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.  

• Leadership:

Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience building and motivating diverse teams.  

• Location Expertise:

Familiarity with Lombok or similar remote resort locations is highly desirable.
