Job Purposes: 

To plan and direct sales, marketing and business development activities in assigned area or product lines to achieve sales volume, pricing and selling cost objectives by implementing consistently the sales strategy, using technical, organisational and market knowledge/intelligence for food industry (food ingredients).

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • To develop sales and marketing proposal, make regular calls, report to supervisor on business performance.
  • Responsible for the sales in East Java, which include maintain the existing customer and develop new customers.
  • In alignment with country strategy, develop tactical plans based on market intelligence/trends, relevant (external) business partners’ strategies and activities.
  • To drive the implementation of tactical plans to ensure achievement of the set targets.
  • To build and maintain professional relationships with key and potential business partners especially large-volume and prospects customers.
  • To forecast the business, monitor sales in the market to ensure target and objectives are met. 
  • To work closely with supplier and supervisor for develop the product and give technical advised to customers.
  • Able to perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time. 


 Job Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Science, Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 1 - 3 year(s) of working experience in food Ingredients and related field.
  • Know and understand market of East Java, work independently and willing to do business traveling.
  • Eager to improve and have initiative to achieve the target. 
  • Good in negotiation skills and communication skills in English.
