Senior Associate, First Mile Network Planning

This role requires strategic planning, data analysis, and collaboration with various stakeholders especially operational team to ensure the movement planned can be implemented smoothly. The position focuses on continuous improvement, cost optimization and configuration movement in the system while make sure the planned are align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft file for governance, Quick Reference Guide & Work Instruction of First Mile operating model and have approval/signed by management level.
  • Design, and optimize the First Mile routing network to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze the routes, schedules, and capacity utilization to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze volume forecasting and network performance to generate capacity planning of the overall network.
  • Manage relationship with stakeholders across different function, especially Operations and Logistic Strategy team.
  • Maintaining the balancing route, and sellers migration process.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for network inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Lead and participate in initiatives/project to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels.

Requirements: 

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Industrial engineering.
  • At least 3 years experience as operation excellence and management in logistics area.
  • Having experience 3 years in business management related to logistics area.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Have good critical thinking, judgement, decision making and problem solving skills as part of ability to connect the dots based on data
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing big group of people, with managerial levels.
  • Think beyond one’s areas to manage cross-functional implications.
  • Respect other’s point of view with an open-minded.
  • Excellent time management.
