Position Overview:
The Lead Architect is responsible for supervising and reviewing architectural drawings prepared by client consultants, ensuring alignment with project standards, feasibility, and compliance with local regulations. This role emphasizes coordinating between clients, consultants, and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and review architectural designs submitted by client consultants to ensure alignment with project objectives and construction constraints.
- Prepare design presentations, 3D renderings, and technical drawings for stakeholders.
- Oversee the architectural design process from concept to construction.
- Ensure that projects meet established timelines, budgets, and quality standards, proactively managing any challenges that may arise.
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with local authorities for permit approvals, ensuring compliance with all necessary administrative requirements.
- Ensure designs are practical, cost-efficient, and aligned with construction timelines.
- Provide input on value engineering to optimize cost-efficiency without compromising design integrity.
- Integrate environmentally sustainable practices into designs.
- Conduct periodic site inspections to verify adherence to approved designs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and innovative design practices.
- Work closely with contractors, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of design elements and project requirements across all phases.
- Ensure thorough documentation of all design processes, decisions, and changes to maintain clarity and support project audits.
- Flexibility for future relocation to Lombok
Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Architecture, with at least 2 years in a leadership role overseeing projects and managing teams.
- Must have experience in reviewing consultant submissions and strong ability to coordinate between multiple stakeholders to ensure collaboration across all project stages.
- Demonstrated ability to manage external relationships, balancing design aspirations with practical and financial constraints.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale real estate projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms for design coordination and management would be a valuable addition.
- Advanced skills in key design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit. Familiarity with additional tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of construction feasibility, regulatory compliance, integration of structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and construction disciplines.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building practices.
- As projects may involve international consultants or clients, experience in remote design management and collaboration is a plus.
- Knowledge of costing will be advantage.
