Get to know the role
We are looking for a Senior AV Executive to lead and support day-to-day AV operations while ensuring that AV hardware and software are ready to meet the organization's needs. You will design and build new office AV infrastructure, proficiency in AV programming, troubleshooting support, and developing event strategies, standards, and technology roadmaps to enhance the end-user experience. You will be reporting to Senior Manager, IT AV.
You will be located in Indonesia and work onsite.
The Day-to-Day Activities
- To provide support in the implementation and operation of all aspects of audio visual, video conference, display and presentation technologies used.
- Operate audio and visual equipment with the aim to provide high quality standard services for live events and other productions across Grab sites.
- Positioning, installation and operation of equipment in venues and external sites.
- Coordinate the flow of an event amongst the various implicated sites (show calling).
- Help with support for video/audio conferencing problems. Investigate faults and recommend further actions to rectify
- Diagnose, test and resolve A/V equipment and media system problems as part of the scheduled preventative maintenance cycle.
- Work with team to help with the diagnosis and rectification of faults to ensure that all systems are functional and that equipment and system down time are kept to a minimum
- New office conference rooms design, BOM creation, coordination, testing and commissioning
- Instruct users in operation of equipment, if necessary.
- Ensure the production and updating of AV documentation such as user guides.
- Maintenance, troubleshooting of hardware and software
Faults & Room Checks:
- Perform regular preventative room checks, ensuring all equipment functions correctly in accordance with the room check procedure.
- To maintain records of equipment usage (when applicable), to make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment when necessary. Raise tickets for faults and liaise with relevant bodies for repairs of malfunctioning equipment.
- Maintenance/reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly.
- To carry out scheduled maintenance checks (room checks/power downs) and to write technical reports based on test results.
Global Coordination:
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with global counterparts within the organisation.
- Hold and attend regular meetings within the team within the team to discuss service and operations issues.
