Clinical Applications Specialist (Cardio/Vascular X-ray)

Responsibilities:

  • Support Related
    • Plan and execute quality and structured on-site application training for installations of CV system and ensure that the system settings are to customer’s requirements and needs in terms of application and image quality.
    • Plan and provide regular clinical and applications follow-up support for CV installed bases especially on strategic and reference sites to increase maximal utilisation of the capability of the system and customer satisfaction.
    • Work closely with Field Support Engineer on troubleshooting clinical applications related and image quality issues.
    • Work closely with BU manager in managing strategic, reference and collaboration sites to maximize Philips visibility and customer satisfaction, converting and training them to be Philips Advocates.
    • Work closely with BU Clinical Scientist in collaboration site. Take ownership in the clinical validation programme with regular follow-ups.
    • Conduct regular update and train-the-trainer sessions for hospitals’ radiographers in the region to ensure that they are well trained and able to get the best results from the Philips system.

  • Sales Related
    • Support in pre-sales activities and customer interaction during customer site visits and exhibition, explaining and demonstrating the capability of the Philips solutions.
    • Provide knowledge, consultation and assist in developing selling strategies to Sales Managers and Channels on clinical benefits and applications.
    • Pro-actively provide competitive information on competitors’ product and benchmarking by analysis of competitors’ sales, marketing activities and clinical selling approaches and help prepare counter strategies.
    • Provide customers feedbacks on satisfaction, issues and concerns to appropriate channels.

  • Channel Related
    • Improve the clinical knowledge of the channel application specialists and conduct train-the-trainer sessions on specialized applications for application specialists from the channels in the region.
    • Provide consultation to channel application specialists on clinical / application related issues.
    • Conduct regular update and train-the-trainer sessions for application specialists from the channels in the region.

  • Quality Related
    • Continual self-learning and keeping abreast with new/ advance CV imaging technologies and applications
    • Continual initiatives to improve quality and structure of on-site application training and pre-sales activity.
    • Complete trainings and skills update programme assigned by the supervisor
    • Provide customer feedback through the appropriate channels and systems.
    • Liaison and feedback to BU Clinical group on product issues and improvements.
    • Work closely with Field Support Engineers and BU Clinical group to resolve any on-site application-related issues that cannot be resolved with current product/solution creatively.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Radiography Imaging
  • 3-5 years in Invasive cath and angio laboratory.
  • Having worked in commercial environment is an added advantage
  • Good Communication and people skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Have technical knowledge on x-ray and image quality principles
  • Willingness to travel 50-70% of time
