Applications Manager (Healthcare Informatics) (Job ID: 60687)

Responsibilities:

  • Implements the IT application in order to achieve the customer objectives as agreed in the acceptance document. By training the key-users of the customer, matching the future way of working with the functionality of the system, write the acceptance document and get this accepted by the customer, configure the application according the defined requirements, test the application against developed scenarios in the acceptance document, support the customer in writing users training material and work instructions, support key users in training users and support during going live

  • Provides professional consultancy to our customers around solutions Clinical Information Systems is offering in order to improve their current way of working and building a business case for them. By analyzing the current situation by executing a workflow study and discussing the future objective of the hospital. Based on these findings of the future situation will be developed in relation to the best practices and available solutions (own and third party). The management of the hospital will validate the future situation

  • Provides customer support in order to keep the IT application of the customer up to date and working within the new requirements of the customer. The Application Consultant supports the local customer support organization

  • Provide sales support in the area of the IT application in order to advise the sales specialist what needs to be offered, come with the best sales arguments for Philips, advice the customer how to work in the future and convincing him that Philips has the capability and solution to realize their objectives. This by executing workflow studies at the customer site, give customer demos and collecting market information about the solution the competitors are offering

  • Provide marketing support in the area of IT application in order to improve our product and service portfolio, and improve or sales material and sales argument. By identifying needs from our application users, match the requirements in the request of proposals with our available functionality, visit seminars and analyze competitors documentation and translate this information into functional requirements and sales arguments for Philip

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor in Medical or Biomedical discipline
Experience Requirements:
  • IT background around application
  • Working experience in or around a Radiology or Cardiology department
  • Experience in advising management around organizational changes.
  • At least 6years relevant experience in Healthcare Industry coupled with 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
