Radiation Oncology Physicist (Job ID: 61708) (Singapore) Responsibilities: In the role of Radiation Oncology Physicist you’ll enjoy exciting challenges in an international environment with high job diversity.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:
- Provide clinical/technical/follow-up support to sales specialist
- Provide internal product trainings on all Radiation Therapy (RT) products
- Support in selected local & international tradeshows
- Give customer presentations (product-specific and general oncology) + understand/parse clinical & workflow needs & demonstrate RT software
- Provide technical/physics support to sales specialist for tender submissions on treatment planning & CT (with minimal support)
- Provide handover trainings for CT simulation (clinical application only) & treatment planning (physics & clinical applications)
- Provide refresher courses with software releases
- Support all applications related calls from the customers for Philips Radiation Oncology System & CT (with support from GSSI advanced physicist & Key Market CT specialists)
- Create demand for software/hardware upgrades from installed base
Focus is on the technical/clinical part. You'll report into the Key Market Radiation Oncology Manager and indirect into the GSSI Radiation Oncology Manager.
You'll closely work together with the end-users, particularly Radiation Oncologists Medical Physicists and Technical Engineers. Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor or Master degree in Physics or equivalent
Practical Experience
- Background in medical physics (dosimetry)
- Excellent domain knowledge of radiotherapy
- Good understanding of oncology in general
- Experienced in treatment planning software a must
- RT clinical experience preferred
General
- Able to work independently
- Commercial acumen

- Relationship manager
- Fluently in English (written + spoken); other languages a plus
- Must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time
