Hays is working closely with this niche player in Asia who focus in upstream exploration activities to downstream distribution. They are drilling in several blocks in Indonesia by means of self-funding or joint venture, and owned LNG plant and power facilities.

With the recent expansion of their business in Indonesia, they are looking for a leader to join them and experience bringing the company to further new heights.

This role will be providing leadership to field/block operations in the upstream business initiatives, growth and operations. Overall in charge of all matters related to Surface, Subsurface, General Affairs & Finance under the guidance of President Director. Protect the interest and right to the block or field. Oversee Company’s operations to achieve business objectives and schedule completion, efficiency, quality service, and cost effective management of resources.

You will be leading and driving all key activities and initiatives such as coordinating subsurface activities on GG&R studies, drilling campaign, work over & well re-entry and intervention, surface activities on field management, process & facilities engineering and HSE, QA/QC & security matter, spearhead full field review and further field development, plan, responsible for WP&B and AFEs submission and approval, exploration & production period extension.

To excel in this role, you need to possessed a well rounded surface or subsurface expertise with a multi-disciplinary background as well as extensive managerial and technical experience. Minimum 20 years of work experience with an operating company. Strong in depth knowledge in oil and gas due diligence, developmental, technical and operational exposure.

As this position requires the candidate to have intimate knowledge of the Indonesia energy regulations and extensive network and relationship with the governing bodies, only Indonesian applicants will be accepted.
