 Terms and Conditions


  1. You agree to be unconditionally bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

  2. You shall be eligible to subscribe to JobStreet SMS Apply if:
    1. you are a JobStreet.com member; and
    2. you subscribe to a telecommunication company in Indonesia that accepts SMS messages.


  3. You shall be charged for JobStreet SMS Apply for each SMS sent to a particular email address. Each SMS sent by you shall be charged to your account at a cost of IDR2000 per application. Each JobStreet SMS Apply that fails to reach the recipient due to an invalid email format, invalid parameter, incomplete resume, non-updated resume, etc, will be charged at IDR500 per SMS.

  4. It is hereby agreed that JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd has the absolute discretion to regularize or amend the rates above without prior notice to you and to charge you the new rates upon the regularization or amendment without prior notice to you.

  5. JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd hereby does not in any way whatsoever represent, warrant or guarantee that you will secure employment by using JobStreet SMS Apply.

  6. You hereby declare, represent and warrant to JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd that you are at least eighteen (18) year of age and that you are not in any way whatsoever incapacitated to enter into this Agreement.

  7. JobStreet SMS Apply shall be provided to you on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd does not make any declaration, representation or warranty in respect of JobStreet SMS Apply regarding:
    1. its timeliness, accessibility and availability; or
    2. its accuracy and the completeness of the data transmitted from you to JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd and vice-versa.


  8. It is hereby agreed that JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd possesses the unconditional right and absolute discretion to change, vary or modify JobStreet SMS Apply in whatsoever way it feels necessary, without prior written or verbal notice to you.

  9. JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd shall not be liable to you or to a third party authorized by or claiming through you for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, special or inconsequential, which may be suffered or incurred or which may arise in respect of JobStreet SMS Apply or in respect of any error, act, failure, delay or omission on the part of JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd, its employees, agents and/or contractors.

  10. Without limiting the generality of the above Clause, JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd, its employees, agents and/or contractors shall not be liable to you or to any third party claiming through you or authorized by you for the suspension, interruption, unavailability or termination of JobStreet SMS Apply for any reason whatsoever.

  11. JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd may suspend or terminate JobStreet SMS Apply without prior notice or compensation to you:
    1. If in JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd's opinion, JobStreet SMS Apply is or will be used for a fraudulent purpose;
    2. If you do anything which may lead to loss or damage to JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd or injury to its employees, contractors or agents;
    3. If you breach any of the terms and conditions herein;
    4. If any technical failure or fault occurs on JobStreet SMS Apply and/or JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd's website; or
    5. If there is any suspected fraud in your payment, JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and to release your details where relevant to any party/parties to further pursue the matter.


  12. JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd may novate or assign this Agreement to any third party without prior notice or reference to you.

  13. The parties agree that the terms and conditions herein may be altered or amended by JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd at its absolute discretion without your prior consent from or prior notice to you.

  14. You shall at all times indemnify and hold harmless JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd, its officers, employees and/or agents (those indemnified) from and against any loss (including legal costs and expenses), liability or expenses arising from any claims for invasion of privacy, infringement of copyright, patent, trade secret or breach of confidence reasonably incurred or suffered by any of those indemnified arising from information or data transmitted, received or stored via JobStreet SMS Apply and from any proceedings whatsoever against those indemnified.

  15. You shall not disseminate any information, data or content obtained from JobStreet SMS Apply, whether in its original or duplicate form, to any third party, be it an individual or a corporation.

  16. If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, unenforceable or illegal for any reason whatsoever, the Agreement shall remain otherwise in full force apart from such provision(s) that shall be deemed deleted.

  17. From time to time, Jobstreet.com reserves the right to request, collect and use and you are encouraged to respond with feedback, comment, testimonial or graphics, solicited or unsolicited and without any obligation of payment on our part, and permit JobStreet.com to use the feedback, comment, testimonial or graphics as a form of endorsement of JobStreet SMS Apply and further improvement to our level of service.

  18. As a member of the TRUSTe Privacy Program, JobStreet.com is committed to protect your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details. TRUSTe is an independent, non-profit organisation whose mission is to build trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the use of fair information practices.

  19. This Agreement shall be governed and construed according to the laws of Indonesia.

  20. In this Agreement, unless the contrary intention appears:
    1. words in the singular number include the plural and vice versa; and
    2. words importing a gender include the other gender.
