What is JobStreet SMS Apply?
JobStreet SMS Apply is a new service from JobStreet.com that allows you to use SMS to email your JobStreet.com resume to an employing company. Each SMS will be charged to your mobile phone bill on a "pay as you use" basis.
How much will I be charged for each JobStreet SMS Apply?
You will be charged IDR2000 to send your job application through JobStreet SMS Apply. This amount will be included into your monthly mobile phone bill statement from your mobile service provider.

You are a subscriber to any Indonesian mobile phone service.

YES.
Does JobStreet SMS Apply guarantee me of an employment?
No, this service does not provide any guarantee that you will secure an employment or an interview.

Will I get any message if my SMS does not go through to the employing company's email?
An SMS Apply that fails to reach the recipient due to an invalid email format, invalid parameter, incomplete resume, non-updated resume, etc, will be charged at IDR500 per SMS.
JobStreet.com will send a text message to your mobile phone if your SMS message contains a wrong email format.
If a wrong email address is provided or the recipient email box has some problem, the email application will bounce to you. You will still be charged. So, make sure you put in the correct email address.
You will also be copied on the emailed application.
All SMS applications to an employer's email address will bear your name. Hence, the employer will know who sent it.

Will I be able to track my SMS Apply for job applications?
The answer is absolutely YES. Under the Applications tab in your MyJobStreet account, you can also view and track all your applications done through SMS Apply.
What are the reasons my SMS Apply sending can fail?
You may have sent a wrong text to 9333. The format should be
JSA APPLY [company email] [position title]
.
Your mobile phone number is not listed in JobStreet.com. Please log into your MyJobStreet account and update it first.
Your mobile phone number appears in multiple MyJobStreet accounts.
We cannot identify your exact resume.
Your JobStreet.com resume has not been updated in the past six months. Please log into your MyJobStreet account and update it first.
The company email address is invalid. Please confirm it and re-send your SMS.
I am travelling outside Indonesia and my mobile phone has roaming facility. Can I use my phone to apply for a job via SMS Apply?
Unfortunately, no. You will not be able to send SMS to 9333 because this number can only be used in Indonesia only.

Can a foreign phone roaming within Indonesia be able to send an SMS to 9333? For example, can a user with a Singapore number use SMS Apply?
No. 9333 is a Indonesian shortcode and can only support Indonesian numbers. Users with a Singapore number roaming in Indonesia cannot send SMS to 9333.
